Four years old
What is your biggest dance memory?
When I was 14, I had to dance a solo from Les Slyphides. I broke my pinky toe the week before
we went to the theatre. I never questioned whether or not I would perform. No pain would ever stop me
from dancing! I remember that on the same foot I also had a bad heel blister and a bruised big toenail.
It took me a half an hour to muster the courage to jam my poor foot in the point shoe. At that moment,
I knew I was strong and determined... and loved ballet so much!
What is your favorite dance movie?
Center stage! Its just a fun movie!
What is your favorite dance routine?
I love Balanchine. My favorite piece that I performed was Balanchine's Serenade. I will never
forget the choreography and the music will always make me tear up a little. It was so fun to dance
because it is beautiful and moves so much.
What are your hobbies, or like to do when not dancing?
I like to make wedding and event cakes for my side business, Ari Cakes. And spend time with my
husband and daughter, Aria.

I have 3 sisters, all older. I have one, almost 2-year-old named Aria.
What are a few of your favorite restaurants?
Postinos, Pizzaria Bianco, Grimaldis
Anything else you’d like to share?
Teaching ballet makes me happy because not many children know how wonderful and fun it can be. It
is the most rewarding art form, in my opinion because it is so challenging, and the result is so beautiful.
